What's the big deal
My most favorable achievement was creating the official U.S flag. I remember the day when George Washington came to my home asking me to do it for him. He was also with 2 of his good friends. I feel this is important to history because it is the flag that represents this nation and without it we might have a flag that looks some what like a British flag. It is very important to have your own flag. Also, I MADE IT!!!!!
My Childhood
Here is some more extra information about me as a child - I was born January 1, 1752 in West Jersey, Pennsylvania. I had 16 brothers and sisters and 2 loving parents. As a child I went to school and that is very uncommon. I stopped at age 12 because I need to learn how to run a house. When I was a teenager I worked at an upholstery for a while. That is some information about my childhood.

My Life
Hello, My name is Betsy Ross and unlike other women I want to help during the American Revolution. Even though I can make an American flag, I'm a little rusty blogging. I'm still really excited to do this! :)
