As I was older and my kids had their own kids I didn't really live alone. I was living with my kids and spending time with my grandkids. I told them all about the flag and the other exciting things in my life. Betsy Ross- Died January 30, 1836 due to old age. age 84!!!!!!!

Many questions people used to ask me is "Betsy why is it that you did what you did?" Well for all those people here is the answer- The reason I made my flag was because I wanted to help. I wanted to do something in the War and not just sit on my butt and let things happen.
